Wildcats trophy meet

For anyone who has not got the meet at wildcats stadium trophy here is a chance to get it. And those that do have it please join anyway to help. Will also do a few races for those interested.

Cool, sounds good. I originally misread it as 11th of Feb, but being the 7th, I can definitely make that. :)
 
If I follow that time clock, I'm looking at Boston Massachusetts, 6pm on Satuday night. Which means I should be able to make it. If I'm online, drop an invite and I'll join in.
 
Judging by the response it seems as if we won't have enough for the 8 players in the stadium trophy. I suppose we can let some randoms join and hope they do it too, though from what I've heard that very wishful thinking. :)

In any case, I'll add you on the PSN when I get home tonight J-PaP, as I and one of my friends are up for some Burnout action. Would it be possible for us to do some of the car timed challenges?
 
Actually we will definitely have numbers I'd say. I have been promoting this on another forum and so far have about 5 people being a definite from the other forum. It's likely we will be too many people actually even if you account for a few no showers. Worst case scenario we may need to linger for a little while incase we need a person or two but then by setting a freeburn challenge that has us meet at wildcat stadium should coerce them to take part.

On a side note by pure luck I got my wildcat trophy yesterday and scored myself my platinum.

Nice one. :) This is the last trophy I need too, though I still have other trophies to unlock that are not required for the platinum such as 10 timed challenges.
 
I have been for the last few days only joining groups of 6-7 people. In one of the challenges I didn't know what to do and the host messaged me to tell me. I then asked if they would also do the batter up challenge once we hit 8 people (we were at 7 at the time) and they agreed.

I need the 10 timed challenges one too. If you want we can do a seperate session as the timed challenges for 2 players are a lot easier. Be easy too with us both being in aus.

I am curious though if they fixed the bug (which I think they would have with this latest update) that caused you to not be able to earn the trophy for the timed challenges if you have done any bike races.

That's a question I would also like a definitive answer to. I've been avoiding bike challenges like the plague in fear of screwing up the normal challenges trophies. Hopefully this was fixed in yesterday's 1.60 update, but I haven't found any info yet...
 
I am happy to be a test dummy anyway. Worst case scenario ill just create a new save game after and try again to just get the trophy.
 
I bought the Party Pack and well, for the price it's actually really good, got a great variety of challenges and the menu is colourful and partyish, which is a good thing.
 
bit short on time but i dl'ed the update and yet to purchase the party pack.

whats in the new update besides visual changes?
 
They changed the handling of the first cars and some of the games like Stunt Run are changed.

And i lost all my online takedowns :grumpy:

I saw a guy online the other day with over 700,000 takedowns. Yes, 700,000. He's going to be upset after that download.
 
Not a fan of them slowing down all the cars! I had a P12 keeping up with my Racing WTR F1 car thingy down a straight road. The brighter colors are a nice change but that new blue theme just doesn't seem right.

Same here. It went very smooth, as did most challenges actually. Though it was annoying that people kept taking down one another when we were waiting to start an event. Haha. Hence my switching to the Police Cruiser briefly. :)
 
ok guys hi im dragonsooth i have been playing BP from first came out it's easy. all the cheats unlocked, if u want them plz PM me. also if u need help or trophies also PM me.i love my platinum PCPD, by the way, with green/pink platiunum glitch. ME IS DE GLITCH MASTAH~!!~~!~ EDIT: paint car glitch fixed. no more red or yellow or blue carbon cars... anyway need help message me.

Hi guys,

Long time GT1 & 2 player here, but quite new to the PS3 scene.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I've got a few questions regarding this game which may turn out to be a glitch.

First, does anyone notice that some of the car's odometer (below the mini map it occasionally shows how many miles you've driven that car) is not working? Even if you've driven it many miles it still says 0.0 miles. I have the Asian version of the game (region 3) and I'm wondering if any of you experiences this. Oh, I've already updated mine to the newest version too. Some of the cars which have this problem are the Hotspur, Krieger PCPD and Carson Tribal Special. There's a few more but I don't remember.

Second, can't the bikes be repaired? I want to repaint them (FV110 TI & GP Comp.) but it says in the junkyard you have to repair them first. So I drove through a repair shop and....nothing happens? In the junkyard it still says I have to repair them first.

Third, is it possible for the game to NOT count a smash when it has already been smashed? Because I'm missing 3 smashes and I've already used online maps and checked everything carefully, yet I still couldn't find them. I'm thinking maybe an AI smashed through one of them and it didn't get counted (assuming it only counts when YOU are the one smashing through)? Anyone else thinks the same or have the same problem?

It's a bit of a long post, but I'll be grateful to those who takes the time to read and answer it 👍.

P.S. BOP is an amazing game BTW. This is the only arcade driving game I ever got addicted to :sly:.

I'm relieved I'm not the only one with the odometer & bike glitch. Oh well, I hope Criterion will read this and fix it soon. Sure it doesn't hurt the gameplay in any way, but I'm very fussy when it comes to small details like this. I want my game to be perfect 👍.

I have never even paid attention to the odometers, on the other hand, like LeGeNd-1, I can't seem to find two of the smash gates:

Speaking of stats, so far I've done all the jumps, broken all the billboards, and smashed all the gates except for two. One of the missing gates is somewhere in Silver Lake and the other in Harbor Town. I've looked everywhere and even used the online maps and still can't find those two missing gates. :ouch:

Like LeGeNd-1, I've tried using various online maps of the gates and still have not found those two gates. I looked at that link you suggested, but I'm still confused on why that would be able to help locate the missing gates?

Maybe when you uploaded your save to that website it will analyze your stats and it will pinpoint on a map where your missing gates are? I dunno, have you tried using it?

I'm only missing two actually (in Downtown Paradise & White Mt.), I know the location of the other one, but I dunno how to get there. It's above the rockridge dam to the west. If you drive up to the super jump in the middle of the road and face west, you can see in the distance (a bit to the right, above the roundabout-like road) there's a tunnel and in front of it there's a yellow light. I'm assuming it's a gate because in online maps it's marked as such and there's no gates anywhere around it. I can post a pic if it's unclear. Anybody know how to crash thru it?

I used it for the last 2, and only for these 2 ^^

Try this and see if it works
 
Well, I tried it, and it works!!!! All smashes complete, and the Carbon GT Concept is a sweet car 👍. I owe this one to you, Red9597 :cheers:.
