Is it because of GT Academy probably?

I would also think that Autodrome Dubai might be on a list of tracks that they might actually be working on making also then.

Not having GT academy track in GT5 does not make sense.

Dubai is hot!
 
I have no interest in Dubai. I've read enough about the slave labor that goes on there to make sure I don't promote it in anyway. I won't even drive the Abu Dhabi rally cars in the game. /end political rant.
 
Funny, cause I ran a race in Arcade Mode and I had a glitch on Circuit de la Sarthe and the barriers weren't showing up so it felt like the older track :P

Also, the older Fuji raceways were enjoyable too.

Monza's Speedway isn't that great, plus, speedways are kinda boring.

I'm guessin that it's not so much the Monza speedway itself as it is the way in which the speedway was integrated into the rest of the track. I'd love to see the '55-'69 version of Monza in the game
 
We also don't have the right pit exit used in Endurance races. It takes us out in front of Turn 1 when it should go behind the wall all the way through Eau Rouge up that path cutting through it.

We have the F1 start/finish line too. In the last 24 hour race they used the F1 line for all but the start, not sure why they had to change it... but I'd still consider the GT5 version simply to be the F1 track. I don't know if LMS has changed to the F1 S/F line or or what version other smaller series run since I've never managed to watch a race other than F1 or the 24s.

I prefer the sportscar layout but it's not as if there's a huge difference. And since GT has never placed an emphasis on proper field sizes, we don't truly need to use the second set of pit boxes.
 
Prefer the old bus stop chicane here... especially with all the trees surrounding, gives a sense of adrenaline zooming pass them, and that slight curve towards the start line. Now instead its replaced by a large chunk of stupid, blank asphalt runoff.:grumpy:👎

I'd say PD should add it for GT6, and focus on more pressing matters on GT5 such as bug fixes/minor game improvements/new DLC etc. Would be a bonus if they could add it for GT5 though :D
 
Grid uses the new bus stop configuration of Spa, but they have large solid barriers around it so you have to stay on track and can't cut across either the grass leading into the right hander or the inside paved part of the left hander onto the start/finish straight. Like this much better as it forces proper braking and getting your entries clean.
