Buttonboxes and Keyboard supportPS4

I've read that Buttonboxes should work on PS4. Can somebody confirm that? Can I map bindings to a Bluetooth Keyboard as well? I got a Logitech 400k on my PS4 and even though I'm driving with controller it would be cool to have some functions on the Keyboard.

The last patch added it back in (as well as UDP support for apps) and I can confirm my button box works just fine.

Hey Scaff, is your button box custom made from a keyboard or can any actual button box with USB work with PS4?
I’ve always thought those proper made ones would be for PC only but if they work with PS4 then that’s music to my ears!

I'm using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and numeric pad, they work fine.

All I can say is that my Keyboard does work. If a Buttonbox emulates a Keyboard or is made like a Keyboard it should work also.
 
Just curious... what USB hubs are you guys using? I got an Amazon Basics one and it's giving me fits.

I just bought what I found at Menards, its a 5 port powered unit. I had a non-powered one prior that also gave me fits. My button box would just stop working and I'd have to shut down the PS4 and restart it. I also had a USB extension cable that caused me a headache, but fortunately my box had a long enough cable to do without the extension.
