C:\ Access Denied Error Message. A Bit of an Issue.

So my work computer decided to play up today. Honestly I have no idea what happened but I do know other people have been using my computer on the weekends (which doesn't really thrill me) and I'm guessing a virus got on to my computer somehow. I've ran AVG and it came up with a Win32 Agent 32 Trojan, which I removed but it keeps popping back on to my system.

Anyways I also keep getting a weird error message that will not allow me to access my C:\ drive which is very annoying. Here's the error message:

Since I'm the designated IT guy here at work I have no one else to call upon for help.

Spybot 1.62 is another good program to use similar to MWBytes, in case it doesn't fix the message. Good luck!

Spybot is great at finding lots of small things, but malwarebytes deals with the viruses like winagent much better. I have both installed on my machine along with AVG and that seems to do the trick.
 
I'd rip the hard drive out and use another computer to scan for malware. I find that really nasty pieces of malware will generally thwart your attempts to remove them when they're running.

I prefer Avast! over AVG since Avast! has a boot-time scanner that kicks in before (hopefully) anything else has loaded.
 
Try a different AV, AVG is no longer the best free one out there. Personally, I'm happy to spend £15 on NOD, which is by far and away the best value for money AV out there.
 
I installed Spybot, it wouldn't even boot, and then I tried Malwarebytes and it wouldn't load either. Today at the office was way to stressful so I didn't get a chance to play around with it and see what was wrong. Hopefully tomorrow won't have me beating my brains in with an extension cord.
 
I don't know about computers much, but if this might happened to me, my sister simply suggest to re-format the drive:D.

Try running them in Safe Mode.
 
SuperAntiSpyware is good at getting rid of rubbish, but it's a huge resource hog (due to how it works), so if you can get it working, remove it as soon as you've sorted the problem

At least, that's what I found with my use of it. Not that I get Spyware, but fun to play around with.
