The Cadillac DTS is a full-size luxury sedan created by Cadillac in 2006 to replace the DeVille as their largest luxury car. The renaming was followed with a redesigned to look more like the earlier CTS and STS.

The DTS incorporated the GM G-Platform, which GM kept referring to as the K-Platform, and is powered by the 32V Northstar V8, producing 300HP in Performance & Platinum models. Alongside the regular sedan, Cadillac also produced the DTS-L, which featured an extended wheelbase, and several DTS limo's were produced exclusively for use as Presidential State Cars.

Prices for the DTS range from $45,000 for the Luxury model up to $60,000 for the Platinum. Production for the DTS ended in 2011 when it was replaced by the XTS.

Specifications:
Body: 5 Door Sedan
Engine: Cadillac Northstar 4.6 V8
Power: 300 BHP
Aspiration: Naturally Aspirated
Weight: 1820 KG

Everything good about Cadillac's earnest but misguided efforts at making a legitimate FWD sport sedan, surgically removed.
