Hi everyone!

Ok, so I've tried the three races. So far, barely 3rd in Willow Springs, around 8th in Lago Maggiore and 4th in Tokyo. I've tried different tunes, bodykits, ballast, racing parts, weight reduction, close gear ratios, far gear ratios, nothing has a significant impact.
Any suggestions guys?

Thanks.

If I recall correctly, I had best success (with no tuning, other than parts) with the S660 at Willow, the Cap at Lago, and the Copen at Tokyo. You can get the Copen to about 114hp with decent handling without breaking the PP limit, which makes the Tokyo race a cakewalk. Didn't buy the Copen until after I had already done the other 2 races, so it's potentially a better option there as well; I haven't tried.

There are certainly faster laps out there with tunes, but I thought I'd just offer my experience using untuned setups. Hope it helps.

Cappuccino on comfort soft tires with ECU, air filter, high-RPM turbo, anti-lag system (remember to enable), intercooler, silencer and manifold. Perhaps add a lower suspension if you find the car too wobbly, and get a power restrictor if you slightly exceed the PP limit. These upgrades make the car very capable without tuning, but you’ll need to drive smooth without too many mistakes.

Thanks mate but it didn't do anything for me. Came 8th on Lago Maggiore. Must admit, it does have more power on the straight right after the first sweeping left bend but it still takes me until lap 3 to catch the car in 13th place. There's no hope of catching the leaders lol.
It was a similar performance to my S550 where I came in 7th.

Did all three with the Beat, fairly easy on normal difficulty 😁 I used the settings below, same settings as for the Kei mission

I didn't realize you could adjust the difficulty level??
Standard it's on normal, you can change it in the settings if you want, although alot of people mention that it is kind of messed up,

Doesn't appear to be any difference when you select beginner. Just that it shows you the braking lines and zones. I'm wondering if there's some kind of bug with the game? I have a Cappuccino with 120hp and most modifications are racing parts yet I can barely move through to 8th by lap 7.
I don't profess to be the greatest driver in the world but I would like to think I'm relatively decent at racing games. This must be the hardest championship I've encountered so far.

I used an almost PP limit S660 because it’s what I had. Easy wins on first try with patience in all three races. AI slows down on last two laps in classic GT chase the rabbit style racing.

VGT was won with the Porsche. No clean bonus though. All over the place trying to control it. AI blocks a lot too. Reverse Deep Forest was unexpected. Don’t think I’ve run it much if at all.

Group 1 races are above my level. Cars too jittery for me. Slow down too much and you get booted off track like online racing.

I can't actually see menu 42 on my UI. Just 40 and 41. Is that normal and you unlock it after completing the first two?

Just came first in Tokyo with the Cappuccino, barely... Should the setup of the car be different in Maggiore?

Yes, normal. It’s probably your collector level causing it:

The new Menu Books No. 40 and 41 will appear after clearing Menu Book No. 39 ('Championship: World GT Series') and having watched the ending, with a player’s Collector Level of at least 20. Menu Book No. 42 will appear when the above conditions are met and the player's Collector Level is at least 30;

I managed to get my Copen '02 to 120bhp, max torque 14.6kgfm, dis: 675, weight 771kg.
0-0.25 16.91sec
0.0.62 30.35sec
62-93 10.41sec

p.o. 399.93 (phew!)

this was enough to not only catch the cars but actually win the races, which where, in my opinion, an absolute ball ache at first.

at Maggiore the AI slows down for the last corner but you can comfortably take it flat, this is where I made up loads of positions. Also making sure you hold your absolute max speed in 3rd gear around the 2nd apex of the first corner group. The rest of the lap is flat out apart from turn 6.

Is it bad that I placed first in all 3 with this really under-powered setup? (I seriously didn't realize I had the wrong Cappuccino selected XD)

I used the Honda S660. Widebody with Type B front bumper and side skirts, Type A wing. I won these races on hard difficulty on the first attempt with this car.

I might have to try these settings out. I finished with the Cap but I want try it with my other Kei cars. I won't do Willow Springs though I don't really like that track
It doesn’t need the aero kit or widebody, I just liked how it looked. It reminds me of a mini NSX, lol.

Stumbled upon a setup and got my cappuccino up to 135hp at 816kg, stiffened the suspension, short gears and abit of aero works a dream. Got 3rd on hard difficulty no problem. 1st May be an issue though.

I was able to get first on Maggiore using the Copen. Got first by lap 5 and was 9 seconds faster than 2nd place. Full Cust sus, Full computer(Output 99), Full Cus Racing trans(Set 180), Full Cust Dif, High RPM turbo, Sports intake, sports intercooler, racing Muffler, Racing manifold, Racing pads, Anti-lag set strong, Bore up, Stroke, Engine balance, Weight reduction stage 2, Ballast set at 200, Power restrictor set to 95. No areo and didn't tune anything except what was listed.

Should get 123hp, weight 2068lb, PP399.42 Turning off traction control really helped with speed loss on corners.

I personally also run manual trans. Get a feel for the power band and run your corners tight.

The breaking zones are shown as part of the drive assist settings. Difficulty is set in the overall game settings. These are two different things.
