I'm guessing that in order to play on a UO server, you've got to have UO installed?

I just got CoD today and was thinking of getting the expansion but got SW:BF instead.

You should have gotten the Expansion Pack

Honestly I didn't feel like paying $30 for 11 extra levels and 2 new play modes.

Yeah, the expansion is well worth it. And yes you do have to have UO to be on a UO server. So if anyof you guys want, go ahead and download XFire (pshughes1) and if you don't have it NHughes_12@hotmail.com for MSN.

The expansion pack is so much better for online play. There are over 600 servers everyday!

There's over 3,000 for the original CoD.

Well Servers hosted by clans there are way too many independent servers like I would say 10 thousand, at least.
