Seeing that we like to pole peoples opinions. Can we find out what camera view is most popular? And how about FOV? I see many live broadcasts with cockpit view, but that big ass A pillar is right in the corner but blocking the view of cars that are ahead.

(look out, there is a car slide. Oh, I could't see it until it was right in front me. To late.....) LOL

We can do whatever poll you want......seems like chase view is the best for broadcasting. After every poll I have to email the moderators to take it down. It's simple to put a poll up.....no opti ok s whatsoever to take it down

I'd like to go with the #57 please.

Edit:
Perhaps, my teammate @BIGTON13 would like to go with it's sister car #56 #57?

We will have to have team mates go with the same exact number this season.....there is only 10 liveries....8 liveries if you count the people without the add ons

Camel, please update my number to 56, ty. IDK how I got 64. LOL

I understood now Camel. I went ahead and edited my post.

Hopefully, Big is happy with #57.

Report #3 has been updated with the standings after Season #9 Week #1

We had a situation last night to where a driver was penalized a drive thru penalty as they passed another driver who was out of the track limits. We all know of and some may have been a victim of (I have) this glitch somewhere in the past. The glitch is.....two drivers are racing.....The lead driver goes off track and the trailing driver makes the pass.....the games deems the trailing driver to have went off circuit to have made the pass therefore penalizing the trailing driver. Usually the penalty is to give the position back......I guess if you dont give it back in enough time then you are penalized a drive thru penalty. Last night the lead driver was in the grass and could not catch up in time to overtake the trailing (penalized) driver. It resulted in the trailing driver getting a drive thru penalty and cost them 2 positions. I have always wanted this league to be represented by its members so I have put up another poll so everyone can vote on this situation and we can have a resolution going forward. If something happens once it can happen again. Poll should close next Tuesday night. Thanks.

Any time this has happened to me, I’ve always been given 30 seconds to get back in the position I was was in before the over take. And it’s always showed on the screen how much time was left before I was given a drive threw.

This is a tough question because on one hand it's fair to award the points but on the other hand you don't know if that driver would have been overtaken or wrecked or spun at some point in the race resulting in getting less points anyway.

I too got a DT penalty for having to avoid that big puddle at the bottom of the pit exit. Two times I had to cross over the line and that's when I got the DT. On the exit of the DT, I had to actually cross the English Channel (it seemed) or suffer another DT. I just able sunk the boat getting across. RAIN SUCKS. Oh, and speaking of SUCKS. The team name should be "Xrad Suks Racing' if combining names. It was good to see a fullish sized room last night. That helps to advise drivers of settings and things to be aware of. Keep it up so BEAR has a fighting chance. LOL

We have been fortunate with full rooms the last 2 seasons. It was an honor to be able to name the team of Xrad and Potvinsuks. How the word sucks got left out of the team name of Camel and Pot last season is beyond me

In my honest opinion, I think the weather selection needs a little adjustment.

Whenever a track is prone to building giant water puddles on the track (especially right in front of pit exit), my suggestion is to have any 'RAIN' sessions changed to 'LIGHT RAIN' sessions.

I'm all for realisim too, but to have giant puddles on track for the sake of realisim, isn't realistic at all because, no racing organizations would allow a race to go on in conditions like that last night.

I have changed weather once in 9 seasons. I changed it because of a giant puddle that there was no way around and that was at the last turn of Sonoma. Personally after testing multiple times this past race.....I saw a couple puddles that formed.....but I also found ways around both of them. That's why I didnt change the weather. No offense to anyone but if one of us can find a way around them then we all can.

I don't know if there was any way around the puddle on Pit Exit without getting a DT penalty. I nearly took someone out from the spin and I wasn't even going fast.

I also have said a million times.....If anybody needs any help on anything...let me know. I did go over twice in the room how to get around each puddle without getting any penalties

That would of been a good race to turn pit exit penalty off. Only that setting, and keep the rest of the penalties on.
Sorry for Mark's misfortune. But it is what it is. I went through the puddle slow on my drive through and still spun it again.

3 pitstops
0 penaltys

Makes sense. Should have turned off pit exit penalties. That never occurred to me. However it did occur to you and you said nothing....so it's all your fault

WHAT? Take it easy boys! Pit exit was never an issue before the race , right? However, I could not find a way around the puddle so I got dinged for it. I want to watch how you got past the that puddle without crossing the white track side line. I agree that this would have caused race officials to do something about safety. A change to weather settings seems reasonable. My only way past the puddle was at a super slow speed, and still I got turned side ways. Track limits are good for the most part but a clear drivers meeting to point this out would have save a lot of trouble. I know we tried to point it out, but still no clear way around was mentioned.

i put both my left tires on the white line and came almost to a stop to go through the puddle

and i had traction control on high
i keep TC mapped on my wheel just for that reason

You stole my thunder bud.

I was going to say, that I bet Traction Control had something to do with it..

Hmmm, perhaps it's time to also have Traction Control setup on my Wheel/Keyboard and to use it within a lap like as if I'm adjusting the Differential Lock or DRS on the fly.

This way, we can have the Traction Control Off/Low for the majority of lap but then we'll have the option of turning it up prior to the puddles..

I like that we are able to use TC and have it mapped to a button, or get to it in the ICM adjustment. However, I truly believe that the TC could only do so much at that puddle. It was so deep that the aero kit on this car is going to submarine into the water and cause the loss-O-control. So for those that crawled along the white line SLOWLY, it was the best way out of the pits this time.

The key to the pit puddle was.........after the first pit stop the puddle wasnt too big that we couldn't go on the left side of it. After the second pit stop it was too big to go around without receiving the penalty....but we get one warning without penalty. The time to take the warning was after the second pitstop.

True, but how many of us ever had time to learn that? This is the kind of game details that will help if it is revealed before anything gets started. Real track officials would have made the weather or track issues clear before hand at a drivers meeting. If you can do your best to test the conditions on your own it will really help. If not, then join as early as possible and please ask "what if". I knew what to expect, but I had to learn the hard way about the pit exit line, and where the game draws the limit. I had to suffer a DT, but now I learned.

After seeing many of the replay videos we have, it is clear to me that drives are not careful about staying INSIDE the white lines, all the time. Karma will always level the field, IMO.

On the subject of FOV. It will make you a better driver if you understand how to set the screen FOV with your seating distance from the monitor/TV. It doesn't have to be exact, but will really help to find your way around a corner faster. Some of the video replays show such a wide view that its now wonder their not the lead car. Project Car 2 has more info on this subject. Or, 'oogle it!

You ask how many of us had time to learn that? We all had 6 days to learn...from Friday to Wednesday. I figure there were at least 7 practices put up in that time (I put 4 of them up). Every single race that I have ever competed in across all leagues I have been a part of....I always run at least one mock race with the details that the hosts gives. I want myself to be prepared for all track conditions that may arise. Everytime I set up a practice lobby I always let the league know. On race day itself we have anywhere from 2-3 mock races before league racing actually begins.

Also...regarding the drivers meeting....everyone of you know that I address certain issues about the event in the lobby pre-race. Now whether anybody listens...I cant control. You also have people who talk about their penis, or their brake ducts from 7 practices ago, or maybe even their tire pressure from 3 leagues ago. I did tell everyone how to avoid the pit puddle twice.....whether anyone was listening....I dont know. What I find funny is......I have had a lot of success on this game. I have a lot of practice time in also. When I speak it's not to give an opinion unless of course I'm asked for that...I speak on how the game works. Most people either doubt me or disagree. Well.....disagree all you want......you will finish behind me

It wasn't your fault, I kinda blame myself for not paying full attention to the glitches and bugs , that was down to me on reflection , and as always in the heat of the moment ,

Testing went great and very little lock up on brakes (brake pressure 77% ) ,then qualy a lot of lock up reduced brake pressure 70%, then in race slightest touch of brake resulted instant lockup reduced to 65%,

hindsight is a wonderful teacher ,you always learn the lesson afterwards,

And just to add extra spice over drive through, I was minding my own bloody business in the race that's what really annoyed me ,I wasn't racing onespace , but I do now understand why the game gave me the penalty, even though it should not have done, ?

Tbh I completely forgot about that bug and assumed it had been corrected in couple of past updates, oh well I won't make that mistake again,

And I would like to hear from anyone who didn't change tyres for whole race ,perhaps you can teach me ,
