I don't understand your question, but I'll try my best to answer it :p

When you take out the DVD while the replay is going and put the DVD tray back in before it freezes, the viewer can get any angle that they want that is specific to the course. For example, you can get an replay angle where the camera is on top of the car, or when the camera is in the inside of the corner where the car is drifting and the viewer wants to keep that angle. In that case, yes you can choose the angle. This is the catch: depending on the lap and where the car is on the course, the replay camera will always be in a certain spot. If you want to keep one angle, then the car will never keep their "eye" on the car. It'll just stay in place, following the car's location, but not following the car. I hope you understand what I mean, but I've tried it before and I had to keep on pressing X to get the angle that I want. It's sort of like when you incorporate the BGM into the replay and it gives you all these filters and stuff. You can do the same thing with the other trick, but after that, then the PS2 will freeze until you put the DVD back in.

Confusing? I know, but you have to do this yourself. Sorry guys, you have to be there to believe it :p

i know what THIO is saying because i always want to get a nice view of the car in a replay. But i have to ask, exactly, how do you do it? Is your replay on "Music Video Mode"? And while the replay is playing, Eject the CD then put it back in?

When you eject the DVD, don't put it back in. Here are the steps:

1. Make sure the replay is going on.
2. Press the Eject button.
3. Take DVD out as fast as your humanly hands can :p
4. Press the eject button again to make the DVD tray go in.

Do all of those before GT3 freezes.

Ok i know this is old, but i want to get my video started and I want some cool camera angles. Question for Thio. This may help others.

I did all of that and got it, but i could only get the views when i go to Music Video Mode and it didnt stay whe i found thet one I want. Is that correct? Going to Music Video mode? Or is there a different way? Has anyone else done this before?

Does anyone know if there are any Gameshark codes to select diff. camera anngles?

Or perhaps using the MK's program?

If you have read up there. That is the only way i have heard of.

gt3 doesnt feereze cause i take the dvd out then i sometimes forget to put it back in at the end of the replay so it goes to that black screen with the blinking white sqaure untill you put the dvd back in heh..

it only works with a first version GT3 not the Greatest hit one and it only works on the 1 generation PS2 and 2nd Generation.

You are all wrong..........It's ok, I am here to explain.......

Steps:

1. Pause the replay
2. Go to "Replay Options"
3. pick music mode (car with music notes around it)
4. Continue replay
5. push the eject button
6. use the X Button to toggle through all the available camera angles in the game.

Yep, works every time. With this method, there is no risk of freezing your game. ;)

Right after you eject the disc tray, it will continue to change, until the music cuts off. Then it will stay on whatever angle you chooose, by pressing the x button. ;)

Well, I'm not sure what your confused about? Just do exactly like I laid out, in the steps. I mean, I did say to push the eject button, in the steps. Once you eject the disc tray, you do not have to take the disc out, and push the tray back in. Just leave the tray sticking out. Then when you want to end the replay, push the tray back in, and exit the replay. ;)

That's one way of doing it I guess ....

silviadrifter already posted the steps earlier, but instead of leaving the disc tray open I just take out the CD when the tray comes out completely and push the Eject button again so that the tray goes back in. Then I press the X button to change camera angles :) Then when the replay ends and the blank screen appears, I just press the Eject button to get the tray out, put the DVD back in and then the game will continue.

If you want to choose your camera view, it's going to be hard because you will have to press X every time until you want to get your desired camera angle. The PS2 is random at times so you may find the camera angle you want in the beginning or later in the replay. Depends.

It works on the Greatest Hits version ;) I own it :)

Yep, I own it too, and it works.

Furthermore, why would you take out the DVD, and push the tray back in, when it's unnecessary? It just adds steps. ;)

When I leave the tray out on my PS2, GT3 crashes.

Weird  ...

Oh, that's interesting....... I wonder why mine does not do that? Anyway, at least we can all agree that it is a very useful tool, to break the camera angle monotony. ;)
