Does anybody have the best solution for this? This car is sweet, but I'd just like to learn how to make it too sweet that the enemy can't stand it!

i never really liked that car, i feel there are a lot betters one than that, so i sold it for the skyline and that lasted me awhile.

You are both right, I loved that camaro like a brother, until I got the 'vette, then the GT1, then 787.... anyways, my friend sold the camaro, but I will be winning one here sometime this week If have not already done so, turn the ASM all the way down to zero, but do it one notch at a time and test it. The key to tuning a gt car is to make one small mod at a time and track test it. That is how you learn the ins and outs. Eventually you can look at the power and drive train, and tweak a new prize car the first time out, but it takes practice.

To build on what Richi said: You are probably unhappy with its acceleration. Cause, stock it is rather slow to get going. Go to the tranny in settings and tighen the ratios by moving the slider towards the lower numbers. When 6th gear is close to 1.000 take it out and test it. It won't go 200 now but it will be a lot quicker.

Here is what I did to my
Camaro Race Car
+N/A tune stage 2 $14,000
+Super Slick tires (used for all tests) $11,and some odd
Complex String (1lap) 4'40.706{@213 mph}
{check that, I beat my Corvette's time with the Camaro…)
Max Speed (same settings, official, no U-turn) 220.3 mph (gearing limited)
HP after oil change (@22.1 miles) 993 hp
-------------------------------------------------
spring rate f=16.0 r=16.4
ride height f=55 r=55
Shock bound f=8 r=8
shock rebound f=9 r=9
camber angle f=6.6 r=4.4
toe angle f=-.5 r=.5
stabilizers f=4 r=5
-----------------------------------------
Brake balance f=10 r=9
-----------------------------------------
LSD initial f=0 r=10
accel f=0 r=40
decel f=0 r=18
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
gear ratios:
1st=3.238
2nd=2.031
3rd=1.416
4th=1.069
5th=0.877
6th=0.759
final=3.780
Auto set=48 (<---remember to set this first.)
{tweak these settings per your taste and the track}
------------------------------------------------------------------
downforce f=.70 r=.81
ASM={as always}0
TCS=10
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The above settings give you a skill weapon. If you can drive with the aggressive oversteer, and mild low acceleration understeer, this is a nice ride. You must drive it very carefully, it will spin quick! After some thought, It might work better running slicks on the front and super slick in the rear. If you don't like the low speed conering, try adding a little extra downforce to the front end.
=================================
Ask your competition if Richimoto is right for you. Side effects were mild to moderate and included: eye bulging, pants wetting, and in most cases; opponent stomping.

Need more? pm me per GTPlanet's private messenger.

I never really drive mine...I always use my Denso Sard and R390 but ive drivin it once or twice and it reminds me of the good ol days when I used to win everything with my good ol' black Camaro...

Lower the ASM to around level 8 and put a little bit of downforce on the front and take off some downforce on the rear..
