Cammo seems to be having a problem adjusting to GTPlanet, so I'm going to help the dude out. No flames please.

Cammo would like to know how much it would cost to buy a Nissan Skyline GTR or a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo8 in Australia.

Please list some places he could go and an average price that he'd expect to see. Thanks a ton.

you wont be able to get a evo 8 yet, they are suppose to come out sometime from factory, and there is very little imported versions

here is a rough!! guide

R32 GTR = $25000-30000
R33 GTR = $35000-45000
R34 GTR = $70000-80000

remember this is AUS dollars

there are more evo 7s, but even they are rare and they would set you back probably about $45000-50000

1995 Skyline GTS25T (ECR33) and a 1979 mazda 323

Hey thats a nive collection of cars but if you are gonna pay that 45000-50000 for a evo 7 i would just rather buy a R33 or buy an R32 and do mods if you perfer mods to your cars.

I have a WRX 00 and a Honda Prelude 02.

How's the Prelude? Some people say they are too slow and overweight. It's not that slow, and not big. Some of them run good low 15's which is pretty quick. Remember that it's a Honda and will probably last for at least a good 150,000 miles. I started that thread and more than half replied with bad remarks about it.

of the group of cars it's marketed against IS the heaviest. High power only helps to alleviate the weight. If you go nuts with aftermarket parts on any engine, it's life is probably going to go waaay down under regular use. So, if you're going for a tuner, grab something lighter, faster and cheaper than the prelude...
