Can GTSport be played using a HTC VIVE VR headset?

Heya Guys. I have a very interesting question that I’ve been trying to find the answer to. I did some research but have ran out of ideas. Does anyone know if I would be able to play GTSport using my HTC VIVE VR headset instead of using a Playstation VR headset? If it is possible, can anyone give me links to instructions. I would really appreciate it as I’m a college student and I don’t really have the time to do a ton of research on this issue. Thanks everyone.
