Do you have racing soft tires, rear spoiler, and set the downforce to the max (front and back)?

Yeah I had the countach fully modded, lowered, downforce and so on. I played again a little bit last night and spent about an hour on that race. The best grid I got was the ford and chevy up front with the toyota behind me. I torched everyone else but that GD toyota kept zipping past me somewhere around lap 3 (the forest track).

Needless to say after a long string of expletives I sold the countach for 70k because even the sight of it made me want to launch my controller accross the room.
