just asking because mine is dead, and also can you replace the motor in the logitech driving force wheel GT edition (ive also got one of them but the motor is gone aswell)
thanks

If you didn't live in Australia, I was going to say you can have my G25 wheel (wheel only, I still use the pedals), but I bet the shipping costs would be more than buying a G27 :(

As for replacing the motors, I've never heard of someone doing it. What does google say?

Technically you can replace everything. Practically speaking... custom parts are a bitch. So let's hope it isn't.
You could replace the engine with any engine as long as the new one has the same mounting system as the old one. Also you mist keep in mind the voltage, amperage, wattage and maybe resistance. I never opened my G25, so I have no clue what kind of engine is fitted.

I only can say... open it up and take measurements. That's the best assurance you can get, knowing the figures.

Those electrical motors have several types, wich usually refers to the type of can they use, so if you can find out wich type is on the G25 and DFGT, its easy to get one replacement because the same type of can always has the same size and even the same holes to hold it down, after this the only thing is respect voltage, amperage, wattage and your down.
Those are Radio control car motors, try to find also Slotcar motors because theres a lot of makers and all type of different cans.
