Can PP go up in a race?

I'm driving the premium R32, it was at 499pp and I was racing in the 500pp or less seasonal events. I did like 3 racing earning about $3,000,000 and i was going for more and I clicked "start race" and it said "Regulations breached". and it was at 501pp, it went up 2pp during racing. I never even left the event. Anyone have an answer for this?? If this means anything, this is the first time I'm racing it.

It's called "Engine break-in"... new engines don't give full power until after quite a few miles of running. Perfectly normal, just like in real-life.

200 miles is full break in.

It's your engine breaking in, as rolfcopter said. You can lower the pp by adding ballast weight or limiting the HP on your car by using the "Power Limiter".
