Try slipstreaming someone who also has a X2011 to help you achieve such speeds.

Thanks but i have no.one willing so im kinda stuck :)

I would help you, but I only have the older X2010 that I haven't even used yet. I don't think it wouldn't even be nearly that fast.

Turn your downforce down.

Turn your downforce down.

 , I haven't used it. But I guess I could do it once I decide to use it.

Once you turn the downforce down on the X2011 the top speed increases to 300+MPH.

Thanks everone ive now hit 306 mph i'll keep trying

On the Route X speed test the best I have hit is 339.8mph. Online without slipstream I have hit 347mph and with slipstream I have hit 568mph. This is still quite slow. I have heard of people reaching speeds in excess of 600mph!

Have PD implemented sonic booms into the game?

Don't think anyone has reached the speed of sound yet!

Most of the speed comes from tuning the suspension, I can run 350+mph offline in the speedtest, and drafted much more online.

The speed of sound is around 700 mph or so. With people reaching speeds of over 600 mph, then we might be seeing sonic booms in GT5 very soon. X2013 anyone?
