It would be interesting to compare the scores between people, but I doubt people are truly honest about their scores anyway.

But all a high score would indicate is how much time someone has spent racing, assuming you can continue to earn points each time you race the same event. If you can ONLY earn points the FIRST time you race an event, then it will be a little better...I guess....

I have a feeling there are probably some big incentives to earning points.. cars, and maybe whole championships that are unlocked once you reach a certain number of points. And if you're powering your way through every race, it'll take you months to earn enough.
That's what I'm thinking and hoping for. If it doesn't turn out to be this way, then I can't really see me giving a damn how many (or few) points I've accumulated. It would be just like amassing millions of credits in the other GT games...who cares? It just means you've spent more time driving around the same tracks than the next guy.

I don't want challenging races, I want to push myself to the limit. If a situation works out in a manner such that I end up in an inferior car, I will give 100% to try to win, and I will enjoy it. But I will not go out of my way to pick an inferior car so I can have a challenge against AI who cannot touch me in equal cars. Make no mistake, if I could adjust the AI difficulty, they will be straight to the hardest setting. But I refuse to compromise myself to account for AI stupidity.

I will drive what I want and I will drive it to the limit, I couldn't care less how many 'points' I get.
