I want someone to try out this car I set up. It is alot diffrent from alot of drifting cars. It really isn't a true drift car, its more of a car to pull some slides while racing. I think it drives great..I was wondering what you guys think of it. Heres the set up...remember its ALOT diffrent from other drifter cars.

Ok you need
Corvette Grand Sport

SUSP & BRAKES
Fully customizable suspension
Sports brakes

ENGINE
Racing muffler
Racing chip
Stage 3 engine tune up
Port and polish
Full engine balancing

TRANSMISSION
Carbon Driveshaft

TIRES
Medium Slick

OTHERS
Lightweigh stage 3

Ok suspension should be set as follows.
Spring rate: F/6.5 R/5.9
Ride height: F/108 R/108
Shock Bound: F/7 R/7
Shock Rebound F/7 R/7
Camber F/2.0 R/1.0
Toe F/ -0.5 R/+1.0
Stabilizers F/3 R/3

Brakes are not adjustable.

Gears are not adjustable.

ASM should be set at level 1
TCS should be set at level 2

Take this car out for a spin and drive it as hard as you can. Be careful with it tho..It will get away from ya with its 789 horses.

Kinda.. It turns well tho when you drive it right tho. Just someone try it...I dunno what to call it. I am a N00b to teh drift. :)

lower you tune up to 1 or 2 ...add stage 3 clutch and flywheel....Lsd...not the drugs..tcs and ams to 0 and use either from sports tires down...(normals, sims)...i think that should help...even though i have not tried the car...

I"m trying to figure out why I should test this car out? There's nothing odd about the set-up, nor the configuration. It doesn't have the settings for drifting, nor for racing.

Is there a glitch, or a hint, or a glimmer of a reason why this would bea ny different than any other car?

I've run a few hundred miles in a Grand Sport for a spot race, and it's enjoyable. What was more enjoyable was the Lotus Esprit V8 SE - straight from the dealer, through the PD cup. Nothing exciting about it other than a few very close finishes.

Has anone else tried this out to see what has made Bravo point this out to us?

Humm O well. I thought it was good car. I just liked the drifting way that at drove and was wanting to see what other people thought of it. :indiff:

OK, that's a legitimate reason. So here's the next step, try adjusting what Monkey Magix gave pointers on. There are a slew of good drifters here, and many can pick up ways to improve from just looking at a quick drift, or a list of settings.

If you drop your HP, and lessen your tires, you'll find that it's easier to get into a good drift. ASM is workign against you. Automatic Stability Management helps eliminate any sliding initiated by the driver. You want to get the car to break traction, ASM wants to inhibit that. TCS does the same thing, except it's related to Keeping the car under traction, instead of keeping the car going straight.

So, the listed settings are working against each other. You need the HP to get the car out, the Car itself doesn't want to. You've had to boost the Hp to overcome the cars programmed attitude. Eliminate the attitude, and you can reduce the HP.

With less HP, and NO TCS/ASM, in combination with less grip from the tires means you can produce a slower, smoother and more in control drift.

Good luck,

Ya I know. I have a few drifter cars I was trying out a kinda of a cross between drifter and racer. I would adjust it to be a good drifter but I just got gt3 a couple of days ago....so I had to restart. (My ps2 and games got stolen along with my memory card... SUCKS)
