Hello, Sometimes I`m in a race on-line and go to the pits for tires and/or fuel, and sometimes a competitor will enter the pit right before/after me and get out with a lead, because I`m still fuelling.
So, my question is, can I manually over-ride the fueler and get released sooner?
Maybe a button or combo of buttons. I think I remember being able to do that in previous GT games.

You need to determine how much fuel you need, and to adjust that accordingly. You cannot adjust the fueling while in progress. Also, I think a good estimate is 2-3L per second, with a full 100L being around a full minute.

I could be wrong though.

On some tracks (possibly all, not sure) there is a penalty for entering the pits too fast. This takes the form of an extra long pit stop. This could explain why your mates gained a lead

Yeah I know about the estimating thing, but sometimes time is of the essence. You can`t really know what an opponent is going to do while making a calculation pulling into pit lane, but it`s real easy to see the lead rolling away while you`re watching the map.

Not what I`m talking/asking about.
Never said pit time was extended, asked about shortening to catch competitor.
Like I said, I think a previous GT had this feature/option.

There is no way to shorten the pit stop by doing what your suggesting with the buttons.

If im in an endurance race i usually only fill up 12 litres whenever i pit for tyres, anything over 12 litres will hold the car for longer than it takes to change the tyres, so everytime you pit in a long race add 12 litres regardless if u need it at that point or not and you will save time not having to fill her up from empty.

But i dont know of a cancel feature.

I wish they gave you a option of either not having to change the tires. Wasted a lot of time

I`ve never not wanted tires, but there may be a way not to.
I`m telling you the previous GT had these options.
I sure hope they think GT6 out better than '5. Maybe less cars and more race related stuff.

Other versions may of had it, but this one don't. You always have to take tires. Thats the shortest pit time you are going to get is the amount of time to change tires.
