Can we be absolutely 100% sure AU and US players will get 3 FREE chromeline for Xmas?

I have the chance to pick up a AU CE edition tommrow (full price). I would like the Chromeline cars, but since I already have all 6 stealth cars, and 3 might be coming next week via PSN, im not so sure.

I'm in australia, has there been any word whether we will surely get the Lambo and m3 chrome via DLC for free and if they will be 500cr to overhaul? IF we dont then will probably get the CE.

But even if we are getting 3 chromelines for christmas that doesn't match what you're getting with the CE edition unless I am reading you wrong. CE comes with stealths but not any chromelines.

Btw the Apex book alone is worth the price difference over the regular GT5 version (just the game).
 
Aside from the Audi r8 and the shelby chromes, yes it does match it exactly. I am in australia, OUR CE only comes with 5 chromelines and an apex book, no keychain, and you got the stealth cars in AU for pre-ordering here on any edition (there were 3 in AU standard CE and signature) or only in the signature edition. But since I pre ordered I already have the 6 stealth, But I dont have the 5 chromeline cars, so i was thinking of getting the CE for the chromes, but I have to pay for it.


The apex book I've read a bit at friends house. I dont really care about it, Its all stuff I know, its pretty worthless to me
 
Ah yes I forgot our (I am Australian too) CE has the chromelines, frankly if chromelines is the only reason you are thinking of getting the CE then don't bother. I got SE and I haven't even used my codes for the 11 cars (stealth ad chromelines).
 
My CE cam with 5 chomeline cars

- M3
- Cobra
- SL300
- Lamburgini
- R8

As a pre order bonus I got the stealth GT-R

But that is a EU version of the game ;)
 
Jay yea, it is just for the chromes. As I said Im pretty much over the Apex book, I read it cassualy at a friends house, Its interesting but just generic motoring stuff i find myself already knowing.

The chromes I find cool because its a few extra cars you can't buy in the game. Well I guess you can but they are not chromey, if that makes sense.

Gejabo, the Aus version is the EU version, exactly.
 
The Chromelines and Stealth cars also have a capped 500 credits for maintenance and rebuilds - very handy
 
The 787B stealth has got to be the most overpowered car in the game. Even if it isn't the best group C car, ANY group C car will easily defeat prototypes, DTMs, SGTs, etc. and with a 500 cr chassis rebuild, you can just bumper car your way to wins without consequence.

I want one so bad :(

By the way, chassis restore has nothing to do with damage or how much you crash.;)

787B Stealth is my B-Spec workhorse, got over 2000km on it now :)

So glad I preordered my CE from MightyApe, only place that gave you 3 Stealth cars for preordering 👍

And the Stealth NSX GT500 is nice too for SuperGT races, since it's livery is so different from the rest. Now I want the Stealth GT-R GT500 and other Stealth cars for the same reason :(
 
Haven't got around to opening my codes, but landed the 5 chrome models with my CE, and my lovely dealer slipped me a slip with codes for Audi R10, NSX GT500, 787B, MacLaren F1, SLS AMG, and GT-R GT500 all in stealth.

Well worth a temp easing of the pain of the wait.
 
well then why does teh GTplanet news site list one of the sources saying they are confident it will be available to everyone?
 
Actually the CE comes with chromes, not stealth. Stealth cars are promotional and Sig edition only. The APEX book is more than worth it for the CE.
