So, I'm thinking of completely clearing my garage and starting from the beginning of A spec again, because I've come up with my own set of rules and restrictions hoping to make it more challenging, but I don't want to get rid of certain cars, if I can't get them back. Does anybody know if I can buy cars back, such as the Minolta if I wanted later? I've never seen it in the used dealer or anything.

In my save data it says 2008 days played, and i just saw it in my ucd for the first time yesterday, and i religously check the ucd every 3-5 races. So id say its one of the harder cars to find in the ucd.

yes the game days is not actual real time game. it advances one day after each race or license test. i am over day 6000

to op. yes you can buy the minolta as it appears in the ucd. it is pretty rare though so you may have to to cycle the ucd for a while

I've only seen that car in the ucd one time and that was a long time after I won it from the event. You can buy it back but more than likely you'll earn it again before seeing it in the ucd.

Guys, he's clearing his garage and starting A-spec over. He can't win the Toyota 88C again, so it's gotta come from the UCD.

Yeah, that was my point... Besides a few of the endurances, I've finished A-spec. I'm just getting rid of all my cars and starting fresh, but I'm not restarting the game, I don't want to lose my skill level or licenses. But If i get rid of it, I'd like to get it back for the GT All stars event.

just do this... have your favorite cars as you current cars that your using through a-spec again....then only use cars that you buy during you way through & just set them as favorite....this is how i do it

Thats a good idea! Not sure why I didn't think of it..? lol, Thanks!

i also start "over" again exect... i do this.. i pick a car, then i run it through every series it is allowed to go through. beginner- endurance... i use the car in every possible race. i only upgrade when its needed... i try to keep it as stock as possible

See, I started taking the average of the highest and lowest powered cars in the "expected Oppenents" and heaviest/lightest cars, and don't allow myself to use a car lighter or more powerful than that, and I run the tires that the b-spec events require for a perticular race... it seems to play out pretty well.

Very smart, what method do you use to track which events you have done?

lol, I actually just have a list on my computers notepad. lol. I also wont allow myself to advance to the next series until I've completed the current series a set number of times, usually I use how many laps are in the series total, per say, the sunday cup is 7 total laps, so I won it 7 times before I went to FF cup. ect..

My problem is I have too many cars to keep up with, but Teddybear-420's idea to just use "favorite cars" to keep track of the ones im using is perfect!

If your clearing your garage, mind sending me your cars? :sly:

I've seen the Minolta in the UCD before. Its about 4million.
