Can you install ps3 games onto hard drive?.

Games would automatically install the core files onto the PS3. Games from PSN however install entirely on your HDD.

It only installed the 2 GB when you first started up the game. I know XBOX allows you to install games to the hard drive.

Haha doesnt sound this extreme lol but the end sound sounds simalar i think its my ps3 over heating its a old 80 gig i might just have to invest in a new ps3.

My PS3 makes a ticking sound like that, but only about one tick per hour or couple of hours. Is this serious?

Every few hours could be the PS3 is telling the drive to power down to save power.

You can Mod a PS3 to Install games for free on the HDD but that is illegal and won't let you play online.but I am guessing you want to install the whole game like on the X-box.
