Can you play GT2 on a PS3

Hey guys,

I have an 80GB PS3. I am just wondering if Gran Turismo 2 works on PS3, as I don't have a PS1.

I can no longer play GT6 because there is a problem with the disc, so before I spend $59.99 on another copy, I buy GT2 and GT4 to play on the PS3. GT2 costs around $5 on eBay.

GT4 doesn't work on my PS3 (probably cause it doesn't have backwards compatibility ).

GT4 only works on the 20GB and the 40GB PS3. Just found out I have the 160GB PS3, so GT4 won't work.

If your PS3 doesn't have 4 USB ports, you can't play GT4 on it. That's not entirely accurate, truthfully, but for the purposes of keeping things simple we'll pretend it is.

Using PS3, I have found that depending on the TV you are using, GT2 may look better displayed in an AV RGB input rather than HDMI, or even played on an older TV as well, because that's what it was made for. However 50 inch GT2 on HDMI is pretty cool too. The "smoothing" option on PS3 seems to work pretty well however the road will look a bit too smooth while driving.
