Can you save a B-Spec race in progress?

-I want to do the final 2 enduros on GT5 B-spec
-But I intend to watch a DVD tonight but I want to start it now
-Can I play out some of the race and then save the progress I have?

Yes but you can only save at pit stops.

I just leave them overnight. I mean, if you have a lvl 35-40 bob, then you'll win it easily without having to tell them much. Just make sure you set up the pit stop strategy early on.
