i just picked up my copy at Wal-Mart for $57.83 CAD. EB was selling it for $59.99. 2 bucks in my pocket :sly:

imma go pop this baby in my PS2 and give it a spin. later all :)

It would be nice for others who got the game to tell us where they got their copy, it would be very useful.
 
The EB Games in the Orillia mall (North of Toronto and Barrie) is not getting GT4 until tomorrow. Wal Mart, Zellers, and Radio Shack (duh) didn't have it yet. I skipped my last two classes to drive there and EB didn't even have it yet. :(

I did buy it though; two copies (one is for my friend) came to $137.98 with tax. I should be able to pick them up tomorrow.

not a problem, was over there picking up the wheel when i over heard them saying how they mentioned to everyone that it's tomorrow but in fact they were recieving it today
 
In Greater Vancouver Area, BC,:

1. EB (OAKRIDGE CENTRE): 100 copies will be available on Wednesday at 10:00am

2. EB (METROTOWN): Again available on Wednesday morning

3. Walmart (Lougheed): No idea

4. Futureshop (METROTOWN): Later Today or Wednesday
 
Well, I just got the call that I have been waiting for for over 2 years. It is Tuesday at 1pm and I am located in Victoria BC on Vancouver Island. EB just called and told me that I can pick up my pre-ordered copy of GT4 anytime after 11am tommorow (wed)!!!!!!!! Yeehaa!!!

He also mentioned the promo offer which is either 3 newer games or 5 slightly older games can be traded for GT4. Unfortunately only 4 of my games qualified, but I am bringing them all in tommorow and hopefully I'll catch a break.

Anyway, for all of you in western Canada, CALL IN SICK TOMMOROW!!!!!

phoned afew places in saskatoon, nothing yet. toysrus gets it the 25th, eb tomorrow, hitek tomorrow, and my friend said he phoned walmart and superstore, but i dunno if he actually did.

Will do! That's what I've been hearing today too. My local WM said "wha?" and my EB said "Tomorrow, not today because we're in western Canada". We just got the EB in my backwoods town last week so if they get a shipment I shouldn't have to worry about local pre-orders taking all the copies! :)

When they have it would be nice, but I'd also like to know anything on prices or if there's any specials around (maybe I'll pick up a DFP if I can find a cheap one ^^;;) in here.

Music World (WEM) is selling GT4 for $57.99. They will have it in stock confirmed Wednesday. Apparently Sony is having problems meeting demand (go figure), and has scaled back shipments to stores (EB here in Edmonton also apparently) to try and meet pre-order demands at least. EB here in Edmonton says it will not be in stock until at least Wednesday, possibly even Thursday

Symtex just got his copy (NA release thread for pics) im calling the nearest ebgames soon to check it out

yep, they have it since around 4h30 pm, bought mine there. Thank you again, because I don't think I would have checked as far as where I live. Only 3 EB Games have it today near Montreal: Fairview, St-Bruno and either Rosemere or Laval (not sure about which one)

I've got pre-orders in at two stores here in Edmonton. The price I've been given for the game is $54.95 before tax. $58 something with tax. I have to spend $4 and make a three hour round trip to get there though. (Other side of the city. No car.)

Wal-Mart were the biggest joke of all, saying the game is not out until March. I guess everyone on here has travelled through time then:)

That's what I got today. First thing today it was "tomorrow". Now, at the end of the day, it's "hopefully tomorrow".
 
yippee.. i finally got a call from EB to go pick up my copy.. i was so happy.. so i go in the car.. my key wont go all the way in the ignition.. finally my ignition cylinder is locked and finished.. can't start the car.. can't go anywhere..can't pick up my GAME

what are the god**** mother-f-ing odds of this happening right f-ing now... seriously, what are the odds.. i am so pissed right now.. all that trouble for nothing... thanks god for making my car not work so that i can't buy the stupid game ive been waiting centuries for and making this probably the worse and longest day ever.. but wait, its not over! I probably won't have the game tomorrow either caus my car STILL won't be fixed by tomorrow.. thanks also for making the cost of gt4 that much more by having to replace this thing

That's harsh dude! Why not just bus it? I'm quite probably looking at 3 hour round trip bus and train trip.
 
well by the time i figured this out, it was 7pm.. store closes at 9pm.. i would ahve had to walk like 20-30 minutes in this cold weather and it snowed all day.. walking in there sucks too.. then the bus to the other city completely, and dont even which other one to take.. anyway

its just the irony in all of it.. I dont know what I should punch
 
That really sucks! I'd be sobbing in a heap somewhere I think.

Go and punch a wall. I find that always helps. (Except for the time I broke my hand doing it.)
 
BerinG, do you happen to have a Ford Focus? Had the SAME friggin problem. Ignition cylinder mechanically locked. Luckily, i've got a Nissan Quest to serve duty for now.

This morning the guy at EBgames told me they were coming in tomorrow. (Montreal, Pt-Claire)
I also picked up a flyer advertising their GT4 promos as mentionned previously!
The anticipation was killing me, so I picked up 6 games to get the $99.99 DFP TONIGHT so I don't have to hold up the line-up tomorrow morning when i pick up GT4.

Turns out 2 games didn't make the cut but lo and behold GT4 was on the shelves, so i got GT4 for free and got the DFP with the free memory card!
i have yet to try it out! Goodbye real world for the next few hours!!!
