Im glad to see so many people down for this comp. Last comp was only 5 people. :( This comp will be fun guys. Ill be creating the room at 7:45 tonight and post the room number in the OP at the very top of the page. I hope you guys are bring your A Game. ;)

On August 23rd, post number 29. I stated it was this coming up Tuesday night. I got mixed up on the date. Sorry for the confusion and hate to see you refrain from joining future competitions.
BTW room open check OP.
 
Just wanted to point somethings out. 1- a weight limit of 1400kg means that the car has to be less that 1400kg, you should have put a minimum weight of 1400kg. 2- it wasnt until today at 7:45 did you say it had to be a european car. Even worse is that your flag is the US so i would expect better no matter you age. No disrespect meant, just pointing out the facts.
 
First I want to say Thank You to those who turned out for the competition. It was very interesting to see what cars showed up. Hope to see you all for next weeks competition.

Its been European cars from the day I changed the OP. The day of the previous competition. When dealing with weight restrictions in GT it has always been XXXkg or more, never have you entered a weight restricted room and the limit be 900kg and you be able to get a car weighing 800kg out. Notice I say adding weight is ok, Why would you ever want to add weight except to enter a weight restricted room.
The only things I didnt do so well were 1.) I mixed up the dates of when I wanted to hold the competition. 2.) Didnt check the host limits for HP restriction so I had to change it to 660 from 655. Sorry you didnt have fun. I did as did numerous others.
Anyhooooo....New competition starts. Japanese Classic Cars. Any car made in Japan from 1960-1979 is allowed. There is not HP, weight, or drivetrain restrictions. Please be sure to read this carefully and slowly to ensure proper understanding of what I am looking for.

Results will be posted in OP after 11:00 tonight. Wifeys TV shows are still on. I hate Teen Mom. :lol: It seems people are having a hard time with the rules.
 
Yea I feel I made the rules clear enough. The Japanese competition has less rules so it will be easier.
Sorry no prizes in my competitions. I dont dupe my game data so I have got nothing much to give except respect for winning. I am open to any suggestions for future compitions, feel free to post your thoughts.

Go for the fastest. I think will the wide variety of cars in this genere It will be a good mix. Espically since no one has tuned them so no one knows what times are good.

Yea The Dome Zero would demolish every other car. At 326HP and just over 800kg its quick. I think 99% of these cars dont get any more than 300HP but they all are light 1048 is the heaviest ive come across. Im torn between 2 cars right now. 1 has good launch and good 1/4 mile time but the other has a 0-60 0.2 sec slower but 0-100 is 0.1 sec faster and 1/4 mile time 0.050 sec slower. example:
car1--- 5.0 sec 0-60 10.0 sec 0-100 15.0 sec 1/4
car2--- 5.2 sec 0-60 9.90 sec 0-100 15.1 sec 1/4
Mind you these times are refrence and in no way relate to my actual times. Since car2 gains so much ground from 60 to 100 and is only 0.1 sec slower in 1/4 mile time, at Indy it should prove fierce competition.

M9 is typo M5 I meant.
Yes you pick one car for the comp. Tune a few to be sure you have your fastest weapon selected. We will run the "duds" after the comp.

Best way to make money is get the Dodge Ram and tune it to 460PP. Go to seasonal events and select the 4WD event at La Sarthe. Cut corners to win the race and its close to 900,000Cr each time. Yes time trials give you 1,000,000Cr., once. This way you gane get it as many times as you feel like racing it.

LOL, I quickly pull out my book and look for it, thats what I tought you meant. Aight cool I do have 3 to choose from but they all have high mileage it'll do though.

Can I use both of the Countaches? My favorite old-school cars besides the GT40, Mark IV, and of course, the Mustang.

Yes, no cars other than Japanese Cars. The rally cars and The Dome are just too much for the other cars to compete. I have tuned 3 cars and 2 of the 3 are very close to each other.
