After the huge success of the Cannonball 3000 -2003, the Cannonball team have planned the sequel - The Cannonball 8000!!!

The Cannonball 8000 starts on the 17th of September and runs over the next 48 hours of the 18th and 19th of September 2004. It promises to hold just as many legendary stories and laughs as the previous year with more hi-speed chases across France and Italy and wild parties that run from dusk till dawn.

Of course the Cannonball 8000 is not a race. The event captures the true spirit of the Cannonball, with entrants from all different backgrounds including original Cannonballers from the runs across the states in the 70's, Oil riggers, Vets and just a cool bunch of people who have a great spirit of adventure.

So it's an event like the Gumball Rally, with lots of exotic and fast cars.
It starts in London, rallys through Paris and arrives in Monte Carlo...

Umm just wondering, whats up with the Side view mirror on the first lambo? It looks like it broke off and the driver just simply put tape to keep it there.:odd:

Yup! a quote
"Police said they tracked down and impounded 71 cars including Porsches, Ferraris and Rolls Royces and took statements and addresses from their mostly British drivers."

Wow, that's like more nice cars in one place then I've seen in my entire life.
