Cannot access online races. (Anyone else have this problem?)

For some reason I cannot join or create any online race. When I go into online lobby the number of rooms is 0 and none appear on screen. This does not change no matter the settings on the left hand side. Refreshing does nothing.

Likewise I cannot create a room. I also cannot join or create a room from the community section of the front page. It just gives me a failed to join or create room message.

I have cleared the system cache and I am now about to create another PSN account and see if that lets me get online. If that works, this will have been the 3rd time my save has been "messed up". I will also try an older version of my save game file.

Has this happened or is currently happening to anyone here? I assume there is not much I can really do about it? I just hope I do not have to start all over, again, again... :grumpy:

Edit: using old game save did nothing... :grumpy::grumpy:
Edit 2: New game save and PSN does not work... :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

What about a PS3 connection test, are you on NAT type 2,
I know it's a silly question but you didn't say you had tried this already.
 
Someone had this probelm a while back ( I will try and find the thread it was in) but I think they had to delete their game data.
 
Wow I thought the online services and quality was bad... But not this bad, l have multiple complaints about being disconnected from my own lounge, unable to join servers in different countries, (ie Australia, Brasil, Japan, Spain), random lagg/glitch where I speed up to 340mph on other peoples screens. Seems like online is deteriorating since PSN got hack back in mid april.
