Cannot go online

After the latest update I cannot connect to the GT5 ... As a matter of fact I want to buy a car from the online shop ... It says that I couldn't connect ID:54.... ( I don't remember exactly ). Any help ? thanks in advance!

Restart PS3. If fails, check internet. 👍

You've got some sort of connection issue, it has nothing to do with the update.

I have restarted my PS3 many times. And my connection seems to be working fine. For example I can go online at FIFA 11.

You could try clearing the Network Cache in GT5.

I haven't tried this one. What if it doesn't work ? oooh and is there any thread/link which says with which car you can finish the events ? I need to finish some races on the extreme events ..
