As you can see, I cant complete my drift on the big turn on midway. I currently use an FC3S and AE86. They both have T7(front) and T8(rear) tires and both have around 300 Hp. Do i need more turbo , or do i need a different tires?

You also need the best tires in the front *smacks forehead*

yep...blasphemous indeed... keep in mind, longer drifts = hi speed , hi speed = low angle.
That depends. A drifter can grab lots of angle eventhough they are going fast in a corner. It is just the matter of keeping the oversteer constant so that the car does not regain traction again.

On my FC I went all out turbo, and put normals in the back and sports in the front, they seem to really help, especiallywith that 480+hp. I use an AE86 rarely, they dont have great power but they can drift, I put all around normals on it. I'd say tho, for ur FC both sports will be better, because I notice I lose too much traction with the normals in the back, resulting in great spin out. I'd have to say... not to get off track, that my fav. drift car is... hmmm a.. uhhhh, FC or the S13 2000cc.

Never mix tires............ All it does it give you a false sense of the cars handling characteristics, and thus hinders your ability to drift the car to the fullest potential. Trust me, if you use the same tires all the way around, the car will be more stable, balanced, and easier to control..........

yes perfect logic. mixed tyre compounds means the front and rear of the car are loosing and regaining grip at different speeds/friction levels and thus unballencing the car.
if the rear is drifting at 65mph then the front would be better suited to have the same grip as to better match its speeds
alter the suspension toe and camber to achieve similar effects but using the same compounds in tyres and you will achieve smoother drifts![]()
we will probably say this time and time again but, whatever, as long as someone takes a note or two![]()

Oh, hmm well it works for me, I'm pretty good at drifting so0, i guess the 2 different wheels settings are just workin fine for me, I'm sure what you guys are sayin is true but... thats just me. thnx tho, appriciate the comment, trying to help and all. But hey... every1 is different.
