Can't sign into xbox live in Forza - Help Please

I have been playing Forza on xbox live for the past 2 weeks. Just recently, I haven't been able to sign in. When I select my profile, it signs in my profile then tries to login my xbox live name. It sits there for about 4 seconds, then just goes into the game with out giving me the 'xbox live sign-in successful' notification. I then don't have the ability to access my xbox live account at all. I don't get any errors or anything, just doesn't sign into xbox live. I know my account is still active because I am able to sign-in to xbox live in Halo2 and play online just fine.

Can anyone offer any help?

Download the update for Xbox Live. One came out the middle of last week. It happened to me. Just go to the multiplayer section and click sign in, it should tell you to update your Xbox, just click ok and it will do it. Then restart the game.
