Cant tune Car settings in online lobby?

when i want to change settings in a online lobby race it doesnt let me the entire menu is like transparent is this a bug or am i over looking something?

Lobby may be set to default. Just guessing I haven't been into any lobbies so don't really know

Yea I figured it out you cant be ENTER in a race to customize car settings you have to CANCEL ENTRY then you can tune it which makes sense im loving this game right now
