buy the ATIall in wonder

Yep, I have the ATI All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro, and it's the best $160 I have ever spent. I get fantastic capture quality (S-Video of course), and it has S-Video out, so I can watch the replay on my TV, while I'm capturing, so I don't have to keep plugging, and unplugging the S-video, from the PS2........

;)

which capture cards have editings programs that comes with them

Mine came with Pinnacle Studio 8, but I use WMM, Vegas, or Premier to do most everything.....

;)

Fry's has an online store called http://www.outpost.com You can buy the card from there, but I do not know how much the shipping is.

You do not have a local Fry's in LA? The last time I went there were like three of them right next to 405? Oh well, I forgot how the LA area looks like :p

Well, that is where Fry's Electronics started. That is why there are so many around here lol.

And yes, the Pinnacle PCTV is good. How many more times do you have to ask?

geeeeeeeeeeeeez, why not just get a cheaper one if you are going to get it online? And I thought you didn't like ordering online.

The hardware is good, but the software is absolute crap. After futzing around with this setup for a while, I've landed on a much better TV-viewing solution than the included/downloadable PVS software,... See complete review>

By using a Winamp plugin called WINAMP TV, available from http://winamptv.zapto.org/, you can use Winamp to acheive much better audio quality and even a better picture in many instances. It only requires the WDM drivers for the hardware, which are both shipped with the tuner card and freely available from MSI's web site.

Since using the WINAMP TV plugin, I've yet to experience the mysterious termination(without any notice as to WHY) of the MSIPVS software, as well as enjoying far superior sound quality by routing it through the Winamp player.

As TV viewing and radio listening are my primary reasons for purchasing this MSI card, I can't comment on the recording or other capabilities of the included software, but if they're even half as buggy and problematic as the straight-up viewing mode, you'll do well to snatch a copy of the Winamp plugin(freeware) if you want to watch TV for more than twenty minutes at a time.

I do not know any major stores there except Best Buy, but you looked over there already.

So I guess your only dilemma is to either buy online or at that store.

You can look into local computer stores that carry what you are looking for.
