I have no idea why but the first car that came to mind was a Lotus Elan.

Because it's also a glassfibre-bodied sports car built in 1962 by a British low-volume manufacturer utilizing a Ford or Ford-based engine?

Either that or my idiot brain confused Lotus with Lola.
 
I was tempted to post something from Lancia as a goof to continue along those lines, but here's an Elan 1600 SS Coupé by Frua.

Things almost invariably head on to Esprits or Elises from Elans, Elites and Eclats, but it'd be atypical and awesome if someone would go down the Frua path. May even lead to some discoveries for people.
