Model T racers lined up for the start of the annual Pig-N-Ford races at the Tillamook County Fair in Oregon. Races have been held every year since 1925. Run across the horse track, grab a pig out of a holding pen, hand crank your Model T to life while holding the pig, race around the track one lap, stop, exchange your pig for another pig, race another lap, exchange pigs again, race one more lap with your pig, hopefully win. More comedy spectacle than race, I was fortunate enough to see the races in the late 1970s with my dad while on vacation.
