Let's take you last example. The Acura RSX.
It's the same car as the Honda Integra. When we talk same car we mean same project. DEPENDING on regions the car car have a different engine configuration. It can be interely different, but if it's the same design , it's the same car (meaning it's the same project).
For example in Brazil, Honda Civic's are avaiable with an 1.7 engine. In europe and US it probably has a 2.0 engine.
They can change the interior style, since the style is not the same in the whole world, to adapt itself to each region. That does not make it a different car.
You don't want to compare a VW Golf sold in US/Brazil, with the same car being sold in places like Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iceland .... They'll have lots of differences. But externally are the same, meaning it's the same car (even if the driving experience end up different than it's "brother" sold in other place).
