Famine first yeah, honda has marketed the NSX-R overseas.....just not a Acura NSX-R..Since japan is an island, an NSX-R anywhere else would mean honda has marketed the NSX-R over seas.....

Japan isn't an island, you muppet. It's a collection of islands - four major ones (Honshu, Kyushu, Hokkaido and Shikoku) and hundreds of other islands - as far away as Okinawa which is actually in the tropics (22.5 degrees north - the four main islands are at 56 degrees north and up)!

There is no Honda NSX-R outside of territorial Japan - anywhere they speak Japanese and spend the Yen. So therefore, as we both state, no Acura NSX-R as Acura is specifically North American.

Famine.....First of all, I realize that..Now tell me...Where is the NSX-R produced? On an island...Where did the C30 NSX-R get tested against the 3000GT VR-4..Not the GTO..the 3000gt VR-4.....Europe...Meaning!!..There is a NSX-R sold commercially to someone outside of japan...Meaning it has decided to go overseas.

But the Honda NSX-R is not MARKETED outside Japan - which is my original statement. Of course according to world free trade agreements anyone can go to Japan and buy any car made there and take it back to wherever they live - including North America. But you cannot go into a Honda showroom outside of Japan and buy a Honda NSX-R - it won't happen. This is absolute evidence (in your favour, I might add) that there cannot be any such car as the Acura NSX-R. If a North American makes a personal import of one, it's a Honda NSX-R.

I have heard that Honda intend on bringing a limited number of NSX-Rs to England (100 or so per annum) in late 2004, but nothing more than that.
