maskriderA little supplement, you can pause the scrolling text by holding L3.
I think he was talking about GT3G-T-4-FanThanks, that clears a lot up, it can't get worse than that, cause we've got a good feature from the start, they can't just delete it for PAL/NA, they just won't👍

Nice, i want to read the whole text instead of waiting..kenseiYes, the descriptions scroll, at least on my NTSC-J version....maybe it will be redesigned for the NA and PAL releases but I wouldn't hold my breath. If anything it is slower than GT3s and in a smaller font (even for Japanese).
I too liked the GT2 version, learned alot that way.
However in GT4 in the free run mode on circuits in gtmode you can turn "narration" on which basically talks all about your car. Not available for all cars though and is the same info in the "reference guide' that came with the NTSC-J version...which who knwos if it will come with the NA release.
M5_dudeHow about for the parts and adjustment descriptions? I'd really hate it those were scrolling. I've never been patient enough to read it all and I'd like to become better at adjusting the settings for my car.

Minnesota01R6Here's a good place to start: http://gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=28326
even though it's for GT3. I'm sure something like this will be posted on GT4 pretty soon as well. These are always more helpful than the GT3 text.
