Car gifting time

My friend told me that the daily limiter for gifting resets at 6pm for everyone. I would test myself but i dont want it to not work and not be able to send the car and have the person im trading with to think im scamming them. is it true?

for me it resets at 12am GMT.

It resets at 12:00am GMT. I assume, since you say 6pm, that you live in CST, which is GMT-6. Mine resets at 7pm EST, which is GMT-5.
