Hey guys, i was on youtube and saw a video of someone going through the list of cars that Forza had.

Some of the cars that popped out to me were the FIA GT1-2 and 3 race cars. Are these cars exclusive to forza? Or has Kaz just not really had the time to add them?

Some examples are the
Maserati MC12 Race car
SLS GT3
Jaguar GT2

etc etc.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Well... I had heard of PD having a license to FIA sanctioned cars, such as the GT1, 2, 3, etc. Though, that's just a rumor. I doubt it though.

They did have the FIA GT license, along with DTM, but both got slashed due to the earlier-than-Kaz-wanted release date.

I think most anything other than Porsche (screw you EA) is just them-not-adding-it.

Take the standard cars for example; that's an extensive list of vehicles that weren't technically added either. And again, Forza too has a number of cars from the manufactures included that they just didn't add.

Do you have any proof, or an article or something on this? I'd really like to read it! This is terrible news to me as i saw both in FM4..

I remember reading it somewhere on here around release, but seeing as I wasn't a member here at the time and it was a year ago I really have no idea what the thread title was.

Yeah, that says they were planned, but the second point talks about installment add-ons to the game. Like Spa which we just had. What is the realistic possibility that the FIA cars are still planned for DLC?

I don't think FM4 have exclusive rights; some FIA GT1 and GT3 were in NFS Shift 2, if I recall correctly.

Which makes me even more angry that he dropped popular racing series cars for all the S2000, Skyline and Mx5 cars that are exactly the same bar a name :dunce:

He didn't, those were already in.

By the way, making more RM and TC cars is cheaper then FIA GT.

What's the point of havig so many S2000, Mx5s, and Skylines...you see one you see them all.:dunce:

Using that logic, same thing with ladies and gentlemen. There are small differences. Different birth places, different ages, different weight/power, etc.
If you look closely you can tell the difference between an R32, R33, and R34, as well as the newer "luxury" Skylines.

Those changes are fine but 3 types of exactly the same model with the only difference been 1 was brought out in the US, 1 in Europe and 1 in Japan is dumb
