Just been reading online a CAR magazine article about GTS and it says the April update will bring the new Supra, 11 more cars and TWO MORE TRACKS! Is that a genuine leak from someone that knows something we don't?

From CAR:
QUOTE
The Toyota Supra is finally here – sort of. After months of spy shots, which you can see below, Toyota has unveiled the GR Supra Racing Concept, a racing version of an imminent production model. Unleashed at last week’s Geneva motor show, the car looks a lot like the FT-1 concept we’ve already seen in Gran Turismo games – and now the new Supra has also appeared in Gran Turismo.

A new video on the Toyota YouTube channel shows the new Supra Racing Concept drifting in various locations without livery – and the footage looks alot like it’s come directly from GT Sport.

That makes sense, because the new car will soon appear in the game’s April update – along with 11 other new cars and two new tracks.

Be good if it is the case.

Think a lot of people will be losing their **** over whether that mountain road is going to be in the game or not!

hope so.. :)

I think fantasy tracks from previous GT games are what everyone wants :) like Deep Forest and Trial Mountain....

Those would be nice and almost new to me since I haven't played GT2-6. Wouldn't object to new Dragon Trail variations. I think that's always a possibility.

I've gotta be honest, I've been racing on those tracks for the best part of 20 years... I'm not that bothered about getting them. They were a product of racing game culture in the 90's and the limitations of the first Playstation (trees and tunnels everywhere!)... the nostalgia is strong with them, but if they were to come back I'd want a total overhaul of them, with more than one layout (in either direction), just something to make them feel a little different.

As for the update rumour itself...

I think it's reasonable to hope some additional content along with the Supra, and what Car suggests is reasonable if we accept that PD can continue the established previous pattern. 2 tracks could mean anything though, I wouldn't be getting my hopes up for new stuff, but Alsace, Dragon, and Fishermans ranch are all ripe for additional layouts. Every month they keep this pattern going for is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

Hate to pee on cornflakes, but that video footage looks nothing like GT Sport based purely on the car physics. It doesn't behave anything like GT Sport - it looks more like the old GT86 TV Advert here in the UK that was CGI'd.

No.

That's not to say it's wrong, but that it's not a confirmation of anything. We've had no information of any kind about any more April updates, just that the GR Supra Racing Concept should be in one. The video isn't GT either. The article itself is from March 12...

And the byline is "Car Road Test Team", which probably means it's an apprentice or work experience writer.

Basically I wouldn't put any stock in it.

I remember a release from Mercedes-Benz about certain cars showing up in Gran turismo(which they later unconfirmed, afterwards);
http://www.emercedesbenz.com/autos/...-turismo-6-will-include-three-new-amg-models/

We did get the SLS GT3 though. Took 4 years to finally get an A45.
First of all I stay with my feet on the ground on the news but compared to what you posted, the article speaks precisely about the type of content that we have and especially talks that we will have another comprehensive update in April is this leads me to think that the news could be likely.
