Alright, I'd like to know if anyone else can see what I'm about to describe or if I am just crazy.

I collect the JGTC cars and I noticed a potential mistake on one of them. For some reason, the rear tires on the Denso Supra look a bit small in comparison to the front tires. I'd say it looks similar to comparing the front tires of the older NSXs' to the rear tires, but switched around. I checked out the Castrol Supra that's the same year, and it doesn't have the same strange look. The front and rear tires look to be the same diameter. It's only the Denso Supra that I have noticed this on, and I don't remember it being like that in GT4 either. It kind'a bugs me since I love the car sooo much.

Anyone else notice this? Or are my eyes just playing tricks on me?

Yeah, the Denso Sard Supra. I have a picture straight from the side, and I included a shot of the Castrol Supra for comparison.

I'm with you on this one. It actually does look like the back is smaller, but it also doesn't look like a significant enough difference to be anything but a trick of the light.
Are the same types of tires on either side? (no idea if this would change anything). Beyond something like that it looks like a legit glitch/Inconsistency.

........suspension the same? Gotta go through all the possibilities.

I don't see it, I think it's an illusion as the front tires seem to be higher up. Just my 2 cents.

They are definitely different sizes… even the wheel without the tyre is smaller at the back. I’m sure someone posted a pug/r5 with the tyres falling off a while back.

My theory: Tire wear, could the tires become smaller due to constant spinning from the 500hp engine?

That could explain the difference in tyre size, but not the wheel size. Plus I don't think he would have been driving for a long enough time (just to take a photo) to cause that much wear.

On a side note, you got to love standard wheelarches :sly:

ok, good point, maybe the wear is on wheels too, not just tires

Could be for a wider window of operation at the rear. Like for camber and spring rate of the actual tyre.

In formula one the spring of the tyre accounts for something like half of the spring rate of the whole car.

It could be similar on this supra. Indeed the weights on the tyres of the f1 car and the supra would be similar at speed when you take into account downforce.
