Car Pack 3...$10.00?!

Its kind of a rip off if you think about it....Baring in mind the last pack was only like $4.00. So I bought it because I was eager to tune and test the new LP 700.
I would have rather paid for the one car than buying the whole pack for $10.00....and that goes for every pack I buy.

Yeah but PD should have bundled the two just like their last DLC. Instead of changing it up just to make more money off of us, because they know the masses will pay.

Or they could have used their common sense and known no one would want those S:censored:T cars included in the packs and made it alot cheaper

But I do agree with both of our other points :)
 
Somebody complaining about ten bucks. Sigh. I blame the recession for threads like this, because ten bucks is not that much. I'll gladly pay it. But I know it's hard for some people.

just buy from Singapore PS store, more cheaper in my opinion....but IDK if it's compatible with other region disc
 
I'm especially psyched for the Volkswagen Beetle, I think I read there's a Beetle included. The '49 is too underpowered, I'm hoping the newer one will have a bit more power, at least. I mean, I know it'll be low-powered, but I hope it starts with more than the '49.

I'm not. I'm a car enthusiast (yea...one of those, ha ha) as well as a mechanic in real-life. I appreciate all levels of automobiles, even the slower ones. I've been wanting a newer Beetle for years, now.

Your dad knows, then. :)👍 The original Beetles, unbeknownst to a lot of younger folks out there, were and still are some excellent amateur racing cars. You could tune them up and repair them easily, and they had rear engine/rear drive layouts, which created some interesting handling traits.

I can't wait to get mine.
 
Wow, two people requesting a thread that isn't even theirs to be closed. Why don't you let the mods make the decisions around here. It's not your job to decide which threads get closed, its theirs.
And yes, $10.00 may be alot for some people with todays economy.

I don't like the higher prices in aus but it is good fun. Oh and the beetle with full tune (mid turbo not high) was 216/217 hp and roughly 985kg. Haha I was maxing 208kmh on flat straight at ssrx ^^
 
$10 may not be a lot of money to spend on a lot of things but it is relatively expensive in relationship to the initial cost of a $60 game. It could cost us around $100 a year to keep up-to-date with all of the DLC in Gran Turismo. Still not a lot of money but I probably wouldn't have bought the game if was going to cost me $160 up front.

I'm not complaining, I'll be the first one to buy most if not all of the DLC but unfortunately this is the way the gaming industry has gone.
 
You People Make me laugh ,10$ is actually 60 Pounds of My Currency I don't know how much they cost in the UK which is where my disk is from but anyway I don't want anycar aside from the Aventador and the XJR-9 so I have to convince my self to Spend 60 Pounds on 2 virtual cars and one of them is already in the Game .So Yeah :D

I just paid the University of South Florida $2350 for tuition, and yet I'm not being cheap about it.

What's $10 for something that is one time only, until the next batch of DLC?

I think it's not about the ten bucks, but about what you get for that. People says that a DLC cost like a cup of coffee so you can buy it, but will you buy a glass of plain water that cost as a cup of coffee?

I live in Europe, and I payd the game 40-42 € after 1 week from D1

If now i buy all the DLCs i will spend 26€, which is 66% of what i paid for the game... for what? 25-30 "new" cars (most of them already in the game lol) and 3 track (only spa worth some money)

I still enjoy the game online (by the way, they should focus on resolving online issues because i paid for playing in a 16 room)

The funny thing from my point of view is that people says that you should buy dlc only for supporting PD, because if you do that they will release a great GT6... i say NO, if they will do a great Gt6 and that will worth (as Gt5 that totally worth the money i spent, despite online bug i mentioned before) i will buy it...

(returining IT) as well if they made a DLC that ADD something to the game i will be the first to buy it...
 
^If they did that, don't be surprised if PD charged more for FRESH material.

And I bet people will belly ache about that too.

But that's fine. Most people are busy enjoying the game anyway, or doing something else more important.
