Sure, $10 may not seem much if you look flat-out look at it. It's really the investment and value that gets out of it. Imagine having to pay $10 for a bottle of water? Sure $10 bucks isn't much, but for a bottle of water? You'd be crazy to accept that it's fine. In this case, we're talking about the value of the DLC, probably in relative to buying a whole game. If this keeps up, we'll be paying for as much as the cost of a new game, except we'll only be getting cars, and a few tracks without any new features or gameplay.
As much as a fan I am of GT, I'd have to admit that $10 for 6 cars may be a bit much, especially if you don't like all of the cars. Don't get me wrong though, I'd buy it anyway, but just because I'd buy it, doesn't mean I think it's the best value out there. The best value for all of us really is we just just get everything packaged in a new game that is GT6. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to be able to keep up with having to pay DLCs in the coming months, but because I'm such a big fan of GT and PD, I'll try my best to support them.
I really do hope that Sony or whoever does the pricing will be more considerate, especially the fact that GT is a really popular franchise, and it wouldn't hurt to see the DLCs noticeably cheaper that what other games may have it for. Otherwise, they're probably just taking advantage of us.
yeah, thats what im afraid of in the future.
Yeah, the question now is really how far the majority of the fans are willing to go with this. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem to be slowing down one bit. If most of us are ok with it, it's pretty much dead certain the future will hold that fate. First few months is fine, but all the way till the release of GT6? How is that a good investment for us fans, and how is that gonna bring up the value for GT6?
Personally, I just hope GT6 gets announced soon. That way, there's more of a reason to stop DLC support.
