996 GT3 Mk1 (1999-2001)

996 GT3 Mk2 (2003-2005)

997 GT3 Mk1 (2006-2009)

997 GT3 Mk2 (2009-2011)

991 GT3 (2013-2016)

'06-'09 for me. Even though it may not be the most powerful, it has the most pleasing looks.

I like the 997 Mk2 and the 991 just as much as each other, but the former got my vote because it is available with a manual.

Didn't really have a preference at first. But oddly enough I saw a 991 GT3 on the way home from work just today (and I rarely ever see these types of cars where I live), and that sealed the deal. It was a real looker.

997 Mk. 1. Because it is a masterpiece ! Manual , rear wheel drive, low on electornic assitant ( compared to new models).

Went with the 996 MK2, the 997 Mk1 would be a close second.

Tough choice between the Mk 2.s, but I think the 997 edges it out for me as the 996 GT2 remains my poster child for that generation. The 997 will have a lot going for it as the end of an "era" for the GT family cars.
