They should make it in, they're possibly my favourite part of the game!

Liked the way they did it in GT4 with the whole cycle-thing, looking out for the perfect spec, right colour and low-mileage example of the car you wanted and then forgetting about it and being extremely frustrated when you missed it, can't get much more real than that.....:p

And the secret black cars that only appeared on whatever day it was, the black gt-one etc :)

It would show a sense of humour if we all had to start looking for the secret Pink cars in GT5, although that joke would quickly wear out...:p

I think you only get like 750000 credits when you sell the F2007 on GTP. I've got five saved already, ad that might not be enough to buy one in GT5...sucks big time...!!!

That's why I've got 71 of them tucked away in my Prologue garage :dopey:

are the used car bins confirmed???

If so, i hope cars that i sell from my garage show up in the used car showrooms. Then if i mistakenly sold a unique prize car (Jaguar XJR9, Nissan R89C from GT4 as examples), i could get it back.

Good god, that must've been some insanly repetitive racing........

You must have the patience of god. :odd:

Mind throwing me that save file? I have the NTSC version.

Well they should put real car price's. But due to world economical crisis, they could reduce car price or give as chance to buy car on loan!!!!:sly:

Im not too worried about the prices. Normally PD has done well at setting the prices in game to roughly the same as IRL.

This is a video I posted back in November when I only had 68. Now at 71 and almost getting to number 72 (600K)

For the record, I am a dedicated GT fan and being retired in my 60's gives me time to race at any time of day or night :)

I am not familiar with the process of sharing a game save here .... I wouldn't know how to do it.

Now that's why I don't want to see online car sales...

For the entire first month it's going to be clogged full of F2007s being flogged off by the hardcore GT guys looking for a quick easy million on each sale. In your case, you could keep 2 (light and dark red), and sell the rest for half the price of a new one, and you'd be sitting on 70,000,000 credits.

In that case, GT5 would automatically exit to XMB and display
YOU'RE WINNER
then shut the PS3 off.

I would assume it would then format the hard disk? With an evil cackle sound?

Just a thought, isn't the maximum credit of 2 million set in Prologue there for a reason?
Namely to put a max on the amount you can import into GT5 to reward the buyers of Prologue but not to punish the first time buyers too much?
Maybe the value of the cars imported is zero, nada, and the only advantage of importing those cars is that you don't have to buy them again or that those cars are not available in GT5.
I do remember some cars in GT4 ( don't remember which ) which you won and could not sell for a profit, only the ability to dispose of them.
If this is the case i surely feel sorry for those poor souls who collected endless amounts of F2007's. :sly:

I prefer to think it's a loophole and we'll be able to punt our F2007 collections (I have about 50-odd myself) for mega spondoolicks! And I'll feel like I've outsmarted PD by getting around their poxy 2mil transfer limit and I'll be smug as hell :D

If it turns out you can't sell them then I'll load them up in prologue, and punt them and transfer the 2 million credits or whatever the limit is and I'll wave my fists and curse them, Dick Dastardly fashion, for outsmarting me.

That would be useless if you were able to sell those 72 F2007's. Or all the cars you bought in GTPSP for that matter.

If GTPSP is a good hint of what's to come, then maybe you will not be able to sell those cars? (e.g. maybe they will be in a seperate part of the garage) In that case, you're stuck with 72 F2007's. :p You still might be able to sell them one at a time and then transferring the 2 million once at a time. But then again, maybe not. :p

Yes, what if you could only transfer the 2 million once? Would make sense, why else put a cap on the amount you can earn in Prologue? ;)

Just by doing the license stuff in gtpsp you earn TONS of credits. Its really really! easy to get a bunch fast. I hope its not gonna be as easy in GT5, that would kinda ruin it all for me.

I honestly dont understand people who wanna trasfer saved stuff from gt5p/sp :S

This topic has been beat to death in another thread. First of all, I could care less whether or not I can import or sell cars from Prologue. I hate to break it to you nay-sayers but that is not why I collect them (72 F2007's). I was the first person to fill a garage and document the number of cars that can be stored (see PS Forum thread .... I'm not going to bother digging it up). Having filled the garage including every car in the game, there was really nothing left for me to do after the first month so I just started collecting them simply to see how many I could actually accumulate. After a certain point, I came to see this as a simple demonstration of my dedication to the game. I also find pleasure in knowing that no one has come forth with any claims of having more ... so ... good for me :)

If, in fact, I can transfer and sell Prologue cars then, again, good for me :)
If I can't, then I won't ..... no big deal really 👍

I am as avid a GT player as anyone out there and have started every GT game with my little Honda and worked my way up or as you guys put it, "from scratch". I started and finshed GT4 from beginning to end (from scratch) 4 times. The "holier than thou" attitude just doesn't hold water with me just because I choose to take a different route initially. I have been starved for real race cars and great tracks (which Prologue is sorely difficient in) and I would love to start GT5 with every imaginable race car at my disposal. I say this because I know full well, that GT6 will be so many years away, that there will be plenty of opportunity to go back and start the game from scratch several times over :)

Same here. I played the GT HD 2.0 concept again a few days ago, and the Celica in there looks so beautiful compared to the one I have in GTPSP. :) I don't think I can resist transferring at least some of the cars from GTPSP right away, like the Audi R8 LMS, the Mazda Furai and some of the JGTC cars.

doesn't surprise me.

Why shouldn't we be able to transfer things over? We spent a lot of time on this "demo" as some call it so why shouldn't be we get something out of it?

I did the exact same thing a few days ago and had the exact same epiphony :)
