When does a car become rare? And does one find out if a car is rare or not?
Example: ac 427, Pontiac le mans gto. Are they rare cars? And why?

There isn't a such thing as a rare car anymore. Even the real rare car like the Chromeline and some of the Promo DLC cars aren't rare anymore with the asshats hacking the game.

Away from the hackers and such people. Under who's words were cars rare?

I go off the rarity ratings on the UCD calculator

They were unlocked long before they got mentioned here dude. Your rants are sorely misguided and misdirected.

So, which end do you wear your hat again?

Nothing is rare in GT5! Most everything is traded either through borrow glitching, hidden tickets or just normal trades. Nearly everything is tradable.:)

There are very few cars that can be considered "rare", but one that is rare would be a good-looking Ferrari Enzo. I swear, every Enzo I see is in some hideous neon color that looked like someone drew all over it with Sharpie markers.

One car that is particularly rare is the Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '08. It's a premium, and the only way to obtain it now is to get really lucky with a Level 12 ticket. I had one in my garage before a lightning storm managed to fry my old PS3.:ouch:

It's easy to obtain in the marketplace, cheap too.:)

Quote of the day for me. Though I very much doubt a good looking Enzo will ever be found beings that it's a hideous looking car to begin with(Imo of course).

Because of the randomness of the cars you find in the used car dealer, though there is a pattern of when cars can appear based on what you see currently

I think there's a calculator of somesort that can tell you how long you have to wait until a certain car you're looking for goes on sale

So there isn't any sort of rarity
