I have been working on the miata test to get online. But I can't get the front end settings right to keep the left front from overheating. Lime is almost all right hand turns.

Any car setting tips that could help?

Thanks

FWIW, I passed the test using stock settings - be as gentle as possible with your steering movements and utilise throttle control to ease yourself around the corners. :)

A couple of things in general can help front tires overheating. Try moving brake bias a bit to the rear as long as it doesn't make the rear too twitchy. This will help avoid understeer, which is a big tire heater.

If you're on a controller, try a speed sensitive setting. You may be inputting a bit too much steering angle at too high a speed, again, a tire heater.

If you're doing a longer race, try a bit more pressure in the tire. It may be a bit slower initially, but may pay off long term as the tire won't overheat so quickly.

Try a little testing, middle of summer vs early spring (hot track vs cold), see what kind of track temp induces the overheating. If it's not happening in March or February, it's not your setup. If it is, time to work on pressures and camber...
