Car settings

Does anyone know what each setting does in the car?

I.e. tighter springs will help do this, lower car ride will do this, etc etc...

I am trying to tune my cars and I just want to go by someone else's "best settings"

Hit the settings and tunings board, and start reading. There is much to learn. Vat_man has a good link, but I don't remember it off hand. But in the Tuning board, there is a lot of information to absorb, especially if you go through the older pages.

Also look in some of the writeups; there can be some technical discussion there as well.

Look here for some suspension/alignment basics for FWD cars.
