the cars you win have more horsepower than the ones you can buy, yu have to change your oil to see the differnt amounts but sometimes it is as much as 20 hp. The colors are different because it is a special car, it wouldn't be worth anything if you could just go buy it.
If there is car you need that you can't win again just have 2 memoy cars and win it on a new game then buy it from the trade screen. I have 2 games that i play one is with game shark and the other one is my serious game. I haven't bought anything from 2nd crd yet though, still feels like cheating.
